sixty-four …

I escaped from work on my lunch break and went to the gym for a 45 minute Body Balance class.  For those of you who haven’t done Body Balance, it’s a mix of Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi which was exactly what I needed.  It was different to my usual high intensity workouts but I forced my to breathe deeply and relax. 

 

During the class, I realised how inflexible I’ve become this year.  I haven’t done jazz or ballet (only hip hop) since last year and I have lost so much of my flexibility.  During the class we had to do a leg mount which I used to be able to do without any problems but now I can barely get my leg up. 

 

Tumblettes, any advice on how to get my flexibility back?? 

 

FOOD 

B:  Smoothie - blueberries, protein powder, Corn Flakes water, ice 

S:  14 almonds.  1 mug of chai tea w. low fat milk and honey 

L:  Sandwich on dark rye w. chicken, avocado, tomato, beetroot, carrot, cheese, spinach leaves 

S:  1 apple.  Peppermint tea w. honey 

D:  BBQ chicken w. rocket, 4 grilled flat mushrooms, grilled capsicum and persian feta.  Peppermint tea w. honey 

TOTAL CALS = 1,392
